This site was born out of my deep love for dogs, and my love for yoga. I had a powerful inspiring experience that showed me how our love for dogs, and their love for us, can serve as a vehicle to share bliss and goodness. Thus the Dogananda product designs were created to remind us of this in humorous and touching ways. Part of the proceeds from the sales go to animal non-profits like SPCA, & Humane Society. Thanks for visiting.    Alison Scott

Aidi Kansas, New Orleans artist

Alison says ” I met Aidi at a Louisiana-SPCA event at New Orleans’ City Park. When I saw her artwork I just “knew” she was the artist for me and Dogananda. I gave Aidi a primitive sketch of what I wanted in the Dogananda painting and she took it from there. We used the Taj Mahal theme for the dome…the Taj was built out of love…and Dogananda’s message is Love… PAWFECT. To learn more about Aidi Kansas go here…

“The Dawgs of Nawlins” by Aidi Kansas

“When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their binds. Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction and you find your self in a new great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talent become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.”

Patañjali – (150 BCE) is the compiler of the Yoga Sutras, an important collection of aphorisms on yoga practice.
